Forthcoming events for creative, digital and tech businesses in Nottingham, Mansfield, Derby, Lincoln & Leicester.
This session offers an honest, lived perspective on working as a neurodivergent person and alongside neurodivergent people in creative, digital and tech environments.

Led by Tania Gerard, an ADHD and autistic founder, award-winning consultant and speaker, the talk explores the realities often left out of workplace conversations. From navigating client relationships and unspoken expectations, to the pressures of self-employment and appearing “high functioning” in fast-paced industries.
Rather than a clinical or academic lens, the session focuses on what work actually feels like. What helps neurodivergent people thrive. What quietly creates barriers, even in well-intentioned spaces. And what many neurodivergent people wish employers, collaborators and peers better understood.
The session invites reflection on how environments, communication and expectations can be designed in ways that support creativity, sustainability and psychological safety for everyone.
